Transportation Options and Ample Parking
Located at the convergence of Rt. 128 and I-95, and a short distance away from Rt. 1, the Club’s new Norwood home is easily reached from all directions in eastern Massachusetts. The new facility is also located about two miles away from both the Islington and Norwood Depot stations on the MBTA Franklin Line, and Rt.128/University Park Station on the MBTA Providence/Stoughton Line and Amtrak railway.
Visitors arriving by plane can access the new facility via public transportation from the Green Airport in Warwick, RI and the Boston Logan International Airport.
The new facility also features 400 parking spaces, to ensure members and guests can come and go, as needed.

In addition to The Skating Club of Boston’s café, patrons of the Club will find plenty of dining experiences and grocery shopping options to choose from, only a short distance away. Whether heading to the Club early in the morning or leaving late at night, skaters and their families will have no problem finding a place to eat or shop for groceries and other household needs (or whatever else your heart desires.)
Beautiful, Expansive Landscapes
The Club’s new home is located on a former golf course and bordered by conservation land. With future plans for a walking path across the property, members with some free time will be able to walk out the Club’s doors and go for a scenic walk or heart-pumping run in the warmer months.
Blue Hills Reservation is also a 10-minute drive from the new Norwood location, with a large variety of outdoor activities to choose from, including hiking and leashed dog-walking.
